Our History

Acadiana Christian School is proud to have 2 campuses in the Acadiana area. As a member of the Our Savior’s Church family of ministries, ACS has grown under the leadership of Pastor Jacob Aranza and Pastor Don Norman.

ACS New Iberia (Prek4 – 12th grades) was originally established in 1984 as Assembly Christian School under the leadership of Pastor Don Neel. In 2018, Assembly Christian School transitioned to Acadiana Christian School- New Iberia. The student population is 300+ students with an average class size: 20-30 students.

ACS Abbeville (Prek4 – 5th grades) was originally established in 1980 as Harvest Time Christian Academy under the leadership of Pastor Robert Wells. In 2023, Harvest Time Christian Academy transitioned  to Acadiana Christian School- Abbeville. The student population is 50+ students with a average class size: 10-12 students.

Both campuses are founded on providing families with a Christian education for their children.  Daily Biblical instruction & Christian curriculum from Bob Jones University Press (New Iberia Campus) & Abeka (Abbeville Campus) are engrained integral in providing students with a strong Christian education.
