A dress code goes a long way in producing a peaceful atmosphere at Acadiana Christian School. There are several important reasons why a uniform is required at ACS:
The regular uniform is worn each Monday-Friday. Students are required to be in their uniforms during school hours and must arrive and leave school in dress code. Other than dressing out for athletic practices, students are to remain in uniform during the school day, unless given special permission.
In cold weather students are encouraged to wear lined jackets available from uniform suppliers. Students may wear any jacket/coat to school, but only official school jackets, sweaters, or sweatshirts will be allowed in the building. Personal jackets/coats may not display any form of inappropriate advertising nor may jackets from any other school be worn on the school campus.
Parents will be contacted if a student repeatedly comes to school wearing improper uniform attire for a conference to take place to correct this problem.
Official ACS School Spirit Sweatshirts and Spirit Shirts are available in the school office. They may be purchased at the beginning of each year and may be worn at all times.
The detailed student dress code can be found in the Parent/Student Handbook.

Students at the ACS can bring their lunch to school. As always we will remain a nut free school (no peanut butter or nuts). We do not allow meals to be delivered to students from Waitr or any other fast food delivery service.
ACS New Iberia students can also order a meal from Lunchbox Live. The only meals allowed to be delivered to students are Lunchbox Live meals.
Lunchbox Live provides convenient meals to our New Iberia students. The program is designed to offer students a variety of meals daily from local restaurants. The service creates an easy and convenient ordering system. The program is 100% optional. If anyone has recommendations or contacts to restaurants in the New Iberia region, please feel free to let us know. Below is a description of how the program works.
1.) The parents log into https://www.lunchboxlive.net/, and create an account. The parent will specify the student’s school and grade within the account. (Please note that ACS is not on their website just yet but will be very soon.)
2.) The menus are posted monthly. Clients have the option of ordering monthly, weekly or daily. All orders must be placed by 5pm the evening before delivery.
3.) Each day the menu will consist of multiple restaurants (usually three daily) and multiple meals. The cost per meal will be between $5.60 and $6.50.
4.) Payments can be made when checking out or a client can choose to bank funds to be used as they go. They accept credit cards and checks or Venmo.
5.) Meals orders are processed and sent to the restaurants the evening before and will be delivered to the school at the time specified by the school. Each meal will be labeled with the child’s name and grade. Meals can be canceled for credit up until 5pm the evening before delivery. Meals that are not canceled by 5pm will be deducted from your account should the child not be at school the next day nor eat the meal ordered.
