Softball

Maybe you have recently heard the phrase, ‘Winning is the goal but not the purpose.’ This phrase sums up the ACS philosophy of coaching. ACS improves individually and as a team in order to win! The purpose behind preparing for a win is to build character in the players.

Throughout the season the girls have plenty of opportunities to work on different character building and life situations: patience when working on a skill, reacting under pressure with a submissive, sweet spirit, and accepting consequences when they individually decide to not keep a watch over their studies or attitude. God allows these life situations to happen, and the end result are life lessons learned that they will take with them after graduation.

ACS also desires for them to gain a love and appreciation for the game of softball. Therefore, if by the end of the season they walk away with a better knowledge of softball, themselves, and look more like Christ, then win or lose, our season has been successful.

ADMISSIONS

We look forward to welcoming your child to the Acadiana Christian School community. There is no better way to determine if ACS is the right place for your child than by scheduling a tour to experience it for yourself.

Please Note: All classes are currently open with the exception of 4th & 8th grade. If you are interested in 4th or 8th grade, please contact us to be put on the waiting list.
